Customer Reviews
Good Glasses, No Brand.
I was looking for some 3D glasses for my Sony Bravia, but the Sony branded glasses were simply too expensive. I looked around Amazon for some compatible 3D glasses and found this pair. There were no reviews and no brand on them, but for 60 bucks, I decided to take the plunge. My glasses arrived in a white box that simply says “3D Active Glasses for TV”. They have no brand, only a little sticker that says “QC pass”, most probably a product of China. Anywho, I hooked up the glasses with the included USB cord to charge, AS THIS GLASSES ARE RECHARGEABLE! You would regularly pay 100+ bucks for the same official Sony branded glasses.
As soon as they were charged, I fired up the PS3 and inserted GT5…. and OMG! Graphics popped. Details were 3D perfect and I never got eye fatigue or dizziness for the 2+ hours that I played. I still have to test them with movies, but if the PS3 games are any indication, I would say this glasses are right on par with the official Sony branded ones…. oh, and did I mention they are rechargeable? I’ve only had them for a week so far, but if I find anything wrong with them I will update my review.
It works
All I can say is they work. Make sure you set your tv to 3d display and the tv zoom to normal. The glasses internal wireless sensor found my Sony Bravia tv purchased in May 2011 automatically. My tv required the 3d setting to be ‘side by side’ imagery. Be prepared to have all settings on the tv right, at first I thought it was the glasses.
Very Good
These glasses are very good for the cost about 1/2 the cost of the Sony one, They are not as clear as the Factory Sony ones, And you need to be directly in front of you TV not on the side view-ing area is about 30deg for side to side.. A plus is they hold charge forever (it seams) and they are comfortable to wear (none of the 3-D glasses and great to ware for longer than one movie) in my opinion. so over all I would rate these glasses as 7.5 to 8 out of 10, 10 being the best.
