I ordered this TV in a package with a 3D starter kit that included two pairs of 3D glasses. After weeks of waiting and brag about my purchase with my friends, I finally received yesterday. And it is very cool.

As I said, I’m not really a great type of technology guy, and so patient with me:

Image: Very good. While I was watching a 37-inch LCD screen that was almost six years, so even looking at a drawing in pencil on wax paper would be an upgrade. But I was watching ESPN HD, HBO HD Post and a bunch of other random stuff. There was no significant problem (points of light on the screen) at all. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not really an effect of the soap film and vi programs.

More images: It is true that this is not a “real” 240Hz TV. It is marketed as Motionflow 240Hz, which means it is 120 Hz, but a technology that Sony is “to increase the frame rate up to 240Hz.” That said, probably would not be able to tell the difference between 120 and 240Hz anyway. I wish the picture brightness was a little better, but it is very easy to make adjustments. Also, black levels is not as black as I want. When viewing a program with a lot of black screen, still looks a little gray in the black frame bordering the TV.

Sound: EXCELLENT. You know, sometimes watch a DVD or a television and music and background noise is super strong and the voice and dialogue are super quiet, then you must mount the volume to hear dialogue, but then quickly turn down, because the booming music scares the crap out of you? Not so with this TV. Apparently, it is a technology that automatically detects dialogue and mitigate the background noise and amplify the voices. In addition, changing the sound settings to “S-Force Front Surround” there really a noticeable difference in quality, the sound seems to echo more in this configuration.

3D: Suh-weeeeet! Ok, there are no specific problems of interference – which is a term I learned from reading a lot of comments. You can see the double images in some points, but all the comments I read about 3D TV’s, suffers from this problem because it is a new technology. My DirecTV has offered 3D four channels, we have a channel to show the nature shows that revolves around dinosaurs, marine life, and things of space. I spent four hours watching the channel, and I know a lot of random facts about dinosaurs, marine life and things in space. I invited three people and the four of us watched this channel for hours. If I only had two glasses, but two of us for a few minutes, then politely share with others – that sounds pathetic, but were surprised by the 3D. There was documentary parts of the ocean where fish stocks looked like they were a few meters from the screen. Brontosaurus totally cursed and looked in my living room – I wanted to pet him. Even in large landscape pots, depth perception was amazing.

Remote Controle: BRILLIANT. Do not know why, but the instantaneous response of the distance makes me damn happy. I had Time Warner Cable TV before, and it would do some garbage at the press of the button on the remote control and not nothing happens, then 15 seconds later, as all he did was going to happen at the same time. DirecTV is better, but still sometimes delay. However, this TV is the default distance is so sweet lovers to orgasm at the same time. No delay and the screen interface is ridiculously easy to use and navigate – even for the not-so-super-techy guys.

Program Interface: Awesome. Navigate configuration is intuitive and simple – like the PS3 interface. Everything is presented in simple language and clearly that even if a girl would have no problem using. There are even functions as the nomenclature of the different screen entries and the addition of an icon? So now when you change the display mode between DVD, DirecTV and Xbox, it is very coldly shows these titles on the screen, and I picked on the icon next to them! W00t! And change the setting is the cake. You can go directly to the most important parameters (such as display, sound, etc) directly from the program you’re watching instead of going to the menu.

Wireless and Internet applications, this does not come with integrated WiFi, but connected directly to my router with a network cable. Done Dad. I was fine with connection speeds of YouTube. My only complaint is that you probably need a little getting used to writing anything – alphanumeric rare type of style you get when you write something with a phone keypad.
